I'm so excited to share about the release of Upstream's latest book, The Sending Church Applied, which I co-authored with Nathan Sloan, Larry McCrary, and Mike Easton. Whereas its precursor, The Sending Church Defined, unpacks the vision of a being a sending church, Applied provides the practical application of how to do it.
The book is built around our framework called the Sending Church Elements, seventeen components that go into healthy sending. There are thus seventeen chapters, one for each Element.
This project has been years in the making. We believe it is the most significant book we've published for the sending church.
